LifePlan Investments
Privacy Notice
Document date: 1 January 2026. This is the date of this notice and is not a statement that it was approved or became effective on that date.
1. Who we are
Life Plan Investments Limited is responsible for personal information used in connection with this website and its intermediary services. Our registered office is 1 Fitzhaven Square, South Circular Road, Limerick, V94 T9N6, Ireland. In this notice, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Life Plan Investments Limited.
For privacy questions or rights requests, contact privacy@lifeplaninvestmentsltd.com or write to Life Plan Investments Limited at the registered office. A product provider may act as a separate controller and will provide its own privacy information.
2. Information we handle
- Enquiry information such as your name, contact details, country of residence, topic and message.
- Application information such as product preference, account type, term, identity and address evidence, tax residence, financial circumstances, objectives and experience.
- Information about joint applicants, company representatives, authorised signatories, owners and controllers where relevant.
- Optional bank details needed to receive interest, dividends or other product income. Do not send card details, banking login information or unnecessary account data through a general enquiry form.
- Records of communications, applications, services, complaints and decisions, together with technical logs, browser or device information and cookie choices.
We normally obtain information from you. Where relevant, we may receive it from an authorised representative, product provider, identity-verification or screening service, or official public register. We will explain additional sources when they apply. Please do not include medical information in a general website enquiry.
3. Why we use it
We use information to respond to enquiries, take steps requested before a service contract, administer an agreed service, assess or support an application, communicate with you, meet identity, financial-crime, recordkeeping and regulatory duties, secure systems, prevent fraud, manage business records, and establish or defend legal claims. Where consent is the applicable basis, such as optional email marketing, we ask separately and you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Required information is identified at the relevant stage. If you do not provide information needed for a legal, provider or contractual requirement, we may be unable to respond fully or progress a service. Marketing is optional and does not affect an application.
4. Who may receive it
We may share information needed for the relevant purpose with a product provider or administrator, identity-verification or screening provider, contracted technology provider, professional adviser, regulator or public authority. We limit sharing to what is needed and apply appropriate contractual or other safeguards. The recipients relevant to your arrangement can be requested through our privacy contact.
5. Website forms and FormSubmit
The current website is a non-sending preview: its client application form does not presently transmit your information to us. Do not upload identity documents or other sensitive information to this preview.
If a live client application form is enabled, it will use a normal multipart submission to FormSubmit and the submitted fields and attachments will be sent to the LifePlan administrative or compliance mailbox designated for that service. The combined attachment limit is 10 MB. FormSubmit’s documentation states that form submissions are retained for 30 days and that uploaded files are not archived or available through its API. The designated mailbox and any onward systems may retain the information under their own controls. FormSubmit may display Google reCAPTCHA at the external submission step.
The actual processing locations and contractual arrangements for a live submission depend on the service enabled. This notice does not claim that hosting is in the EU, that a data processing agreement has been signed or that a particular transfer safeguard applies. We will provide relevant information about live processing when that service is enabled.
6. Security and retention
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures and access controls for the information we process. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep payment instructions and full bank credentials out of general website forms.
We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purpose collected, applicable legal or regulatory duties and the establishment, exercise or defence of claims. Our retention criteria include the following:
- Non-client enquiries: normally reviewed for deletion or anonymisation 12 months after the last meaningful contact, unless an ongoing matter or another lawful reason requires retention.
- Unprogressed applications and identity or address uploads: normally reviewed 90 days after the application is closed or confirmed not to proceed, unless a legal, regulatory or provider requirement requires longer retention.
- Regulated client records: normally retained for six years after the relationship ends or the relevant transaction or event, subject to the rule that applies to the record.
- Complaints, disputes and claims: kept while the matter is open and for as long as relevant limitation, review or legal-hold needs require.
- Marketing: kept while permission or another lawful basis remains, with a limited suppression record after an objection or withdrawal so that preference is respected.
- Security logs and backups: retained according to the security and backup needs of the service.
These criteria guide retention reviews; they do not mean that every copy is deleted automatically on the same day. An intake copy or upload is distinct from a regulated client record, which may need to be preserved for longer.
7. Automated decisions
The current form checks whether required fields are complete and whether the country input is in an expected format. These checks do not accept an investment, reject an applicant or make an investment decision. A human review is required and the provider conducts its own acceptance process.
8. Cookies and your rights
Ordinary browsing uses necessary technologies only. We do not preload analytics or advertising trackers. If a live application is submitted, FormSubmit may use Google reCAPTCHA in its external submission flow. See our Cookie Policy for more information.
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, object to direct marketing at any time, and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. These rights have conditions and exceptions, including legal or regulatory duties to keep records. Contact privacy@lifeplaninvestmentsltd.com; we may need to verify your identity.
You can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland or another competent supervisory authority.
